Join Us

The lab supports curiosity-driven research with a culture that’s inclusive, collaborative, and – most of all – fun. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic people to join us.

Graduate Students

The Richardson Lab accepts graduate students through the Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology Program. The application is typically due the first week in December for admission the following September. If you are already a graduate student at UCSB and interested in rotating, please contact Chris Richardson.

Undergraduate Researchers

Undergraduate researchers are always welcome. This is a great way to build research experience and lab skills, but training does take time. We ask that students commit to at least ten hours per week and one year of research. Candidates should email Chris Richardson with a CV and transcript.

Postdocs

Please contact Chris Richardson and provide a description of your research accomplishments, career goals, and potential research interests in the lab.
